Welcome to Sophiasburgh Central School!
Sophiasburgh Central School, located in a spacious country setting south-east of Belleville in scenic Prince Edward County, serves approximately 130 students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8.
Sophiasburgh Central School's facilities include a computer lab, a library, and a gymnasium. At recess, the students have access to basketball courts, baseball diamonds, a soccer pitch, and a running track which encircles the sporting grounds. Our yard also includes several play structures and sun shelters.
At Sophiasburgh Central School, students receive quality education with an emphasis on literacy, numeracy, and the development of caring and responsible students. There is energy and enthusiasm for learning that flows through the school.
Students proceed to Prince Edward Collegiate Institute for Grades 9-12.
